Analog as Nature / Analog is nature

I am fascinated by analog media. I think it's because I can comprehend how analog media works. If I'm shown a diagram of how a cathode ray tube (CRT) television projects an image, or an audio tape converts magnetism to sound, I can usually grasp the concepts.

This leads me to imagine that consuming analog artwork is like consuming nature. The same naturalistic prinicpals found in the woods can be translated to the audio/visual artwork we consume via analogical means.
